Job summary
Sherpa Kids is seeking an Afterschool Childcare Assistant for Bellewstown National School Meath. This on-site, part-time role supports before/after school and holiday clubs with energetic supervision, homework help, and engaging daily activities.
Garda vetting and two references are required; a full driving licence and car access are necessary. Minimum 1 year experience with school-aged children, basic knowledge of child development, and fluent English are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
- Basic knowledge of child development.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during activities and free play.
- Assist with homework and educational tasks.
- Engage in a variety of planned activities (indoor and outdoor).
- Assist with games, crafts and group activities.
