Job summary

DJH in Dublin seeks a Part-Qualified or Senior Accountant to join our accounts team. You will work with experienced accountants to deliver high-quality client service, prepare year-end financial statements, and provide tax guidance.

The role offers growth within a fast-paced firm, with opportunities to train, develop, and mentor trainees while leveraging Xero for client advisory and planning.

Qualifications

• Be part-qualified, working towards your ACA / ACCA, or fully-qualified with a minimum of 5 years practice experience.
• Tech-savvy, with a knowledge of CCH desirable.
• Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
• Excellent communicator and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Senior Accountants and Managers to deliver a great service to clients.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and management accounts for clients.
• Calculate corporation tax and personal tax liabilities; offer tax planning ideas.
• Cultivate long-lasting client relationships.
• Train and advise clients with Xero.
• Work with managers and other departments to support service delivery.
• Engage with clients to understand their business and provide a great client experience.
• Lead, coach and develop accounts trainees.

As a Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (we're open!), you'll be fully immersed with our experienced accounts team to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
