Job summary

Dennehy Motors is seeking an experienced Panel Beater / Spray Painter for our busy Dublin workshop. You will perform high-quality vehicle body repairs, panel replacement, preparation and spray painting to manufacturer and workshop standards.

This hands-on role suits someone with a keen eye for detail who can work independently or in a team, maintaining a clean and safe working environment while meeting agreed repair times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Panel Beater/Vehicle Body Repairer/Spray Painter.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair and refinishing techniques.
• Experience with panel repair, replacement and alignment.
• Experience with welding and body repair techniques (MIG/MAG).
• Good knowledge of preparation, priming and spray painting.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and determine repair method.
• Remove, repair and replace damaged panels and components.
• Align panels for proper fit and finish.
• Carry out cosmetic and structural body repairs.
• Weld with MIG/MAG and perform spot welding as needed.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and prime/mask where required.
• Mix and colour-match paint; spray paint to professional finish.
• Polish and finish painted areas; inspect quality of workmanship.
• Maintain clean, safe workshop and follow safety procedures.
• Meet repair time targets while upholding standards.
