Job summary

Jones Innovations Ltd is seeking a Painter to join our field crew across Ireland. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying primers and paints, and delivering high-quality finishes on walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and metal structures. You will travel to client sites within the assigned area and report progress to the supervisor.

Hours are 40 per week, with an annual salary of €37,544. Training will be provided where required, and basic English communication is essential for on-site

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, filling cracks or holes).
• Apply primer, sealant, undercoat and paint using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Ensure high-quality finishes on walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, and metal structures.
• Travel to different sites within the assigned area and report progress to the supervisor.

Annual Salary: €37,544

Hours: 40 p/w

Key responsibilities: Preparing internal and external surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks or holes) Applying primer, sealant, undercoat, and paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Ensuring high-quality finishes on walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windows, and metal structures Using appropriate tools and materials to achieve professional standards Cleaning and maintaining painting tools and equipment Complying with all health and safety standards at the workplace Travelling to different construction or renovation sites as required within the assigned area Reporting to the site supervisor or company management regarding project progress.

Requirements: Good working knowledge of English is preferrable. Have knowledge or interest in painting tools, equipment and colours. Training will be provided where required.
