Job Description

Painter required to work at Resley de Souza & Rienia Ferreira t/a Empire Paiting, located at 8 Cluain Aodha, Ballyhugh, Gort, Galway, Ireland. The candidate must have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role. Duties include: preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and priming; applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces of residential, commercial, and industrial properties; carrying out decorative finishes as required; ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail; selecting and mixing paints to achieve the desired colour and finish; operating and maintaining painting tools and equipment safely and efficiently; performing power washing and surface preparation prior to painting; following health and safety regulations at all times, particularly when working at heights or with industrial equipment; protecting surrounding areas with appropriate coverings; liaising with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met; maintaining a clean and organised work environment; completing work within agreed timelines. Annual remuneration: €28,696.20. Hours of work: 39 hours per week.
