Job summary

FRS Recruitment is seeking a Colour Consultant for a paint shop in Dublin. The role is part-time and requires a qualification in Interior Design or substantial relevant experience, with a focus on delivering expert colour advice and excellent customer service.

You will engage with customers, build relationships, manage sales, and be flexible to work weekends. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of interior design experience, strong product knowledge, and a full driving license with own transport.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Interior Design or similar, or extensive previous experience in Colour Consultancy and/or an Interior Design role.
• 2-3 years' Interior Design experience ideal; examples of work will be required
• Flexible in relation to hours/days of work, including weekends.
• Be comfortable using computerised equipment such as cash tills and stock systems.
• Must have a full driving licence with own transport.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers and staff to ensure sales and productivity targets are met and the highest standards of service.
• Be an experienced salesperson, preferably with paint/hardware experience and good product knowledge.
• Deliver excellence in service and maintain a solid, stable work history.
• Serve customers with fast and efficient service and be willing to help out in other areas of the business as required.
