Allied Health/Nursing in Westmeath is seeking Staff Grade and Senior Speech and Language Therapists to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). You will provide speech, language and feeding therapies to children and young people with developmental needs, working with families, schools and multidisciplinary colleagues in a community setting.

The Senior Grade role includes managing complex caseloads, supervising juniors and contributing to service development, audits and quality

Formación

• CORU registration is required.
• Staff Grade: relevant clinical or placement experience.
• Senior Grade: minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Paediatric and/or disability experience desirable.
• Strong communication, organisational and clinical reasoning skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children with speech, language, communication and feeding/swallowing difficulties.
• Manage a varied paediatric disability caseload within a community setting.
• Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes and care plans.
• Support children with communication development, social interaction, language skills and functional communication needs.
• Work with families, schools and multidisciplinary colleagues; maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, supervision and service development initiatives.
• Senior Grade: manage complex caseloads, provide supervision to junior staff, and contribute to audits and quality improvement.
