Job summary

Spectrum Health in Waterford is seeking a Paediatric Physiotherapist to join as a contractor for a fixed-term engagement of 1–5 months with an immediate start. Responsibilities include managing a predominantly paediatric caseload across clinic sites, with flexibility in hours.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy, CORU registration, ISCP chartered membership, and professional indemnity insurance, with paediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy is required.
• CORU registration is essential.
• Chartered ISCP membership is essential.
• Professional indemnity insurance is essential.
• Relevant paediatric clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with paediatric patients across a range of conditions.
• Independently assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans, then provide treatment.
• Educate patients on prevention and improvement of conditions.
• Use app-based rehab to support patient goals.
• Manage medical notes, reports, statistics, and patient payments/receipts.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals promptly.
• Conduct meetings with local GPs and potential referrers.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
