Job summary

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Paediatric Physiotherapist to provide high-quality, evidence-based services to children (0–18 years) within Primary Care in Dublin. The post focuses on early intervention, health promotion, and short- to medium-term management in line with the national primary care strategy.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary Primary Care Team to support children and families in the community, liaising with preschools and schools, developing home programmes,

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
• CORU registration as a physiotherapist (or eligibility).
• Clinical experience in paediatric physiotherapy (including student placements).
• Knowledge of normal child development and paediatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a paediatric caseload in primary care.
• Deliver individual and group-based physiotherapy interventions for children.
• Develop home programmes and empower families to support goals.
• Liaise with preschools, schools, and community partners.
• Refer to specialist services when clinically indicated.
• Maintain clear clinical documentation in line with HSE and GDPR.
• Participate in service planning, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in continuing professional development and supervision as needed.
