Job summary

Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a Paediatric Physiotherapist to provide assessment and treatment for infants and children in line with the CORU Code of Conduct. The role may be in inpatient or outpatient settings across CHI where appropriate.

The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services as organisational needs evolve and the development of the new children's hospital proceeds. CORU registration must be held and the CORU number stated in the application.

Qualifications

• Must be a Physiotherapist with CORU registration.
• CORU registration number must be stated on application.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment for infants and children.
• Work in inpatient or outpatient settings across CHI sites as appropriate.
• May be required to work across CHI sites and services.

Job description

There are currently both permanent and specified purpose contracts available. A panel will also be created (duration 1 year from the last date of interviews) from which suitable permanent and specified purpose contracts may be filled.

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this post is to provide appropriate physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment in accordance with current best practice with due regard for the CORU Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Physiotherapists to infants and children referred to Physiotherapy, demonstrating good clinical easoning. This intervention may be provided in an inpatient or outpatient setting across CHI where appropriate.

The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new childrens's hospital and associated services.

Essential Criteria:

Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU - candidates must state CORU registration number on application
