Job summary

Medforce in Mayo is seeking a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join an established Child Development Centre. You will deliver family-centred OT assessments and interventions to children and adolescents with additional needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers flexible working, potential for full-time or part-time permanent arrangements, CPD support, clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy; CORU registration and AOTI membership required.
• Paediatric OT experience preferred; strong clinical and interpersonal abilities.
• 1+ year post-qualification experience desirable; Garda Vetting and references required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver paediatric OT assessments and evidence-based interventions.

Medforce are recruiting for a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join an established Child Development Centre in Co. Mayo.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team providing family-centred OT assessment and intervention to children and adolescents with additional needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver paediatric OT assessments and evidence-based interventions.
• Support children with neurodevelopmental needs, autism and sensory processing differences.
• Work closely with families and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to team members.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences and service development.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to junior therapists.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Occupational Therapy recognised in Ireland.
• CORU registration and AOTI membership.
• Previous paediatric OT experience.
• Ideally 1+ years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Garda vetting and satisfactory references.
• Own transport for occasional school visits.
