Job summary

Nuvo are seeking a compassionate Paediatric Nurse to provide specialist one-to-one care for a client in Carlow. Night duty with flexible full-time and part-time options, featuring competitive hourly rates and a generous sign-on bonus.

The role requires NMBI registration, full licence and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team. Paediatric or home-care experience is desirable; full training and support are provided.

Paediatric Nurse– Night Duty | Full-Time & Part-Time | Carlow

Pay: €28.33 per hour (Monday–Saturday) | €36.57 per hour (Sunday Nights)

About the Role

Nuvo are looking for a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to provide specialist one-to-one nursing care for their client based in Carlow.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor and evaluate ongoing physical, emotional and social care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments and interventions as prescribed while monitoring their effectiveness.
• Recognise changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Develop, implement and review person-centredcare plans.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care.
• Advocate and promote safety, dignity and wellbeing at all times.
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• RGN/RCN Trained.
• Previous experience as a Paediatric nurse desirable.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while providing safe, evidence-based care.
• Compassionate, family-centred approach to nursing.
• Full Licence and own Transport.
• Previous experience in home care is an advantage, full training and support is provided to all candidates.

Working Hours
