TCP Homecare, a leading homecare nursing provider, is seeking a Community Nurse with dual paediatric and general qualifications to deliver high-quality nursing care and IV therapy in home-based settings.

The role involves shift work from Monday to Sunday (no night shifts) with weekend rotation, and requires strong communication, documentation, and teamwork with the nursing director and multi-disciplinary team.

Job description

TCP Homecare are a leading provider of homecare nursing services on a national scale. Candidates will also be required to have IV infusion experience and to cover a range of services.

We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic professionals with a dual nursing qualification (paediatric and general) who demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation while displaying flexibility and ability to adapt to change to join our team in offering a comprehensive high quality standard of nursing care and administration of prescribed intravenous treatment to patients/clients across a broad spectrum of specialty areas, within the home and community setting. This role is based on a shift pattern from Monday to Sunday, with no night shifts and weekends rotation equally spread between the team.

Responsibilities:

The Community Nurse will provide clinical services to adult and paediatric patients in an effective and caring manner to a high standard that meets best practice. A key element of the role is the maintenance of accurate electronic patient records and the timely deliverance of reports immediately after a visit back to the clients and head office. The home care nurse should see the role as working as part of a team where the nurse uses their clinical, communication and interpersonal skills to provide a seamless service whilst at all times liaising closely with the nursing director and the clients multi-disciplinary team.
