Job summary

Cpl Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse with paediatric or ICU experience to join a nurse-led team providing one-to-one care in the client’s home in Navan, Co. Meath. The role offers long, predictable shifts (10 hours) with availability Monday-Sunday, with part-time or full-time permanent employment.

Support from CNM2 and local management, with pay rates of €30/hour (Mon-Sat), €45/hour (Sun), and €60/hour on bank holidays, plus ongoing training and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration.
• Experience in paediatric care or ICU is desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a home-care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in the client’s home.
• Provide tracheostomy care and ventilator support.
• Assist with PEG and NG feeding where required.
• Catheter and stoma care.
• Medication management and clinical observation.
• Recognise deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handover.
• Contribute to care planning and risk assessment.
• Liaise with family, GP, discharge and community teams.

Pay

The role

What you will need

• Current NMBI registration as an RGN
• ICU, high-dependency, respiratory or complex-care experience desirable
• Relevant experience in tracheostomy, ventilation or enteral feeding desirable
• Strong clinical judgement, organisation and report writing
• Ability to work independently within a supported clinical framework
• Professionalism, confidentiality and a person-centred approach
