Job summary

MILISH FOOD LIMITED is seeking a hands-on Production Packing Room Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of the packing area in our Dublin facility. You will ensure safe, efficient packing that meets quality standards while hitting production targets and minimising downtime.

The role requires 3-5 years in production/packing, with strong experience in flow-wrapping machinery and a hands-on supervisory approach.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' relevant experience within production or packing, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a packing or production team.
• Strong practical experience operating and setting up flow-wrapping machinery.
• Demonstrated ability to run a packing operation efficiently and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily packing team activities.
• Ensure safe, efficient packing to required quality standards.
• Set up, operate and oversee flow-wrapping equipment for efficient production runs.
• Manage changeovers with minimal downtime and downtime reduction.
• Maintain hygiene and HACCP compliance in the packing area.
• Monitor line speed, throughput and overall packing efficiency.
• Train and support packing operatives in correct working methods.
