Job summary

Roquette seeks a Packaging Process Engineer to support and improve packaging operations across the Cork site. You will own packaging processes, troubleshoot issues and drive improvements with operations and maintenance teams.

Frontiers include safety, quality, reliability and cost performance; you will monitor metrics, lead investigations and implement sustainable changes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Manufacturing) required.
• Experience in manufacturing, pharma, food, beverage or packaging.
• Knowledge of production processes, process improvement and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as process owner for site packaging operations and selected production operations.
• Provide technical support to packaging equipment, processes, and plant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements.
• Monitor and improve packaging line performance using OEE, downtime, waste, defects and throughput.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues; implement long‑term corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into packaging issues and customer feedback.
• Drive site improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency and cost.
• Establish process control standards to ensure product quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and HSE to meet site objectives.
