Job summary

Roquette, a family‑owned global leader in plant‑based ingredients, is seeking an Operations Manager at Cork to lead manufacturing operations and logistics, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient production. Reporting to the Site Director, you will drive continuous improvement, oversee budgets, develop teams, and collaborate with quality, planning and supply chain to meet customer needs and site objectives.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in

Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years manufacturing/regulated industry experience.
Experience leading production teams in automated/process-controlled settings.
Lean/Six Sigma or related continuous improvement experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to Operations and Logistics teams to ensure safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing operations.
Develop and align operational priorities with site and business objectives.
Lead root-cause investigations and implement CAPAs.
Oversee logistics to ensure cost-effective distribution and service levels.
Ensure compliance with Safety, GMP, Food Safety and environmental regulations.
Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
