Job summary

Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny is seeking a Night Team member to join our 5-star property. This full-time role requires working flexible night hours, including weekends and bank holidays, with a focus on guest safety and service.

You will check guests in and out overnight, respond to requests, monitor security, perform light cleaning in public areas, and work closely with reception and housekeeping to ensure a smooth handover at the end of each shift.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
• Monitor the security of the hotel, including regular patrols of public areas.
• Ensure all entrances, exits, and fire safety procedures are followed.
• Perform light cleaning duties in public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and reception when needed.
• Report emergencies, accidents, or suspicious activity to management and the appropriate authorities where necessary.
• Work closely with the reception and housekeeping teams to ensure a smooth handover at the end of the shift.
• Complete end-of-day administrative tasks and night audit procedures.
• Ensure the hotel is clean, secure, and prepared for the morning team.
• Occasionally you may be asked to work in our sister property SpringHill Hotel so use of own transport is essential.
