Dynamic Safety Solutions, part of the Celnor Group, is recruiting for an Overhead Power Network Patroller to support ESB network maintenance. No prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role involves extensive travel and nights away, outdoors, and field-based work.

You will perform surveys, record data, identify hazards, inspect poles/assets, and help ensure a safe, reliable network. A full driver’s licence and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driver’s licence is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness are required.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Experience in ESB networks or telecoms is an advantage, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality surveys while maintaining ESB safety standards.
• Record survey data accurately using ESB systems.
• Identify hazards, near misses, and positive safety observations.
• Inspect poles and network assets for rot or damage.
• Carry out Madison Bore checks and headgear replacement where needed.
• Assess overhead conductors and span clearances for safety and compliance.
• Highlight maintenance/upgrades to support a safe network.
