Job summary

eir business talent is seeking an OT Data Engineer for our client in Ireland. The role focuses on unlocking value from operational technology data, telemetry systems and industrial assets to support digital transformation programmes.

Location: Ireland – Hybrid. Type: Contract. You will design and develop OT data pipelines, cleanse and transform data from SCADA and historian platforms, and support reporting, analytics and visualization solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with operational technology or industrial data
• Strong SQL and ETL knowledge
• Exposure to data engineering tools and cloud platforms
• Experience integrating data from SCADA, telemetry, historian or IoT systems
• Understanding of data modelling and reporting frameworks

eir business is seeking expressions of interest from OT Data Engineers to support digital transformation programmes across critical infrastructure environments. This role focuses on unlocking value from operational technology data, telemetry systems and industrial assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop OT data pipelines and integrations
• Extract, cleanse and transform data from telemetry, SCADA and historian platforms
• Support reporting, analytics and visualisation solutions
• Maintain data quality, governance and integrity standards
• Work closely with operational teams to improve decision-making through data
• Support cloud-based and enterprise data initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with operational technology or industrial data
• Strong SQL and ETL knowledge
• Exposure to data engineering tools and cloud platforms
• Experience integrating data from SCADA, telemetry, historian or IoT systems
• Understanding of data modelling and reporting frameworks

Desirable

• AVEVA PI, Ignition, Canary, Ovarro or similar platform experience
• Azure Data Factory, Databricks or Power BI exposure

Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G Dependant, Stamp 4, Irish/British/EU passport.
