Job summary

MSL Engineering Ltd in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork, is seeking an OSM Lead to oversee off-site manufacturing processes, planning, safety, construction, quality and engineering.

You will coordinate fabrication activities across CED, Workshop, OSM, and Site teams, ensuring NDT compliance and timely QA documentation. Ideal candidates will have deep piping isometrics knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with EIDA/ISAMS and MS Office.

• Strong, in-depth knowledge of piping isometrics.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient with EIDA and ISAMS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the coordination lead for all fabrication activities between CED, Workshop, OSM, and Site teams.
• Ensure all projects meet NDT requirements per project specifications.
• Ensure QA/QC documentation (load plans, shipping lists, weld logs, NDT reports) is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Ensure the Workshop Engineering Team adheres to all responsibilities outlined in the Workshop Process Flowchart.
• Resolve engineering queries arising from fabrication isometrics.
• Prioritise off-site pipe fabrication to align with the agreed schedule.
• Liaise with MSL Project Managers to monitor and maintain the fabrication schedule.
• Coordinate fabrication deliveries using load plans requested by site teams.
• Review project load plans and issue lookaheads to the General Supervisor to ensure delivery to OSM/Site in a timely manner.
• Attend weekly production, scheduling, and QA meetings.
• Work with the MSL QA/QC Lead to ensure adherence to the full fabrication process.
• Ensure Tech Mods are completed correctly and promptly, with accurate red-line isometrics after fabrication.
• Manage revision control when notified of holds placed on isometrics by Site/Document Control.
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of piping isometrics (essential).
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Competent user of EIDA and ISAMS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
