Job summary

Apple seeks a Software Engineer for the Triage Intelligence and Debug Engineering team to dive into OS internals, automation, and intelligent systems. You will investigate crashes, build scalable triage pipelines, and collaborate across Software, Hardware, and Silicon teams to drive issues to resolution.

Strong debugging skills and Python proficiency are essential; knowledge of C/Swift and ML applications to systems problems is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Triage crashes and panics across Apple's OS stack by analyzing crash logs, kernel panics, and core dumps to isolate root cause.
Collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Silicon teams to propose fixes and drive issues to resolution.
Encode triage logic into automation pipelines for future classifications without manual intervention.
Apply ML/AI techniques such as crash clustering and anomaly detection to improve triage pipelines.
Build debug tooling, scripts, and CI/CD integrations that surface OS-level signals and validate platform stability at scale.
