We are hiring a Staff Nurse for a hospital in Galway, Ireland, on a part-time basis (23 hours per week) with a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will hold RGN registration (or be eligible for registration) with NMBI and have 1–2 years post-registration experience, ideally in orthopaedic or surgical

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMBI registration or eligibility.
• 1–2 years post-registration nursing experience, orthopaedic and/or surgical preferred.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Professional accountability for safe and effective patient care.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with hospital policies and guidelines.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with proper documentation.
• Safely administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and controlled drugs.
• Monitor patients post-administration and report adverse events.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control practices and report infections to IPC team.
