RecruitNet International Ltd is seeking a Staff Nurse – Surgical Day Unit to join a leading hospital in Dublin, Ireland. You will provide safe, patient-centered nursing care within a dynamic multidisciplinary team and contribute to high standards of clinical practice.

The role requires a valid NMBI registration as an RGN, at least two years of acute nursing experience, and excellent communication and planning skills. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid NMBI registration as a Registered General Nurse in good standing.
• Minimum of two years' acute nursing experience is required.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong planning, organisational and time-management skills; flexible to rotations/night duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, including assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely and report changes promptly.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers and coordinate care activities.
• Maintain infection prevention, patient safety, privacy and confidentiality.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions and patient education accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits and policy development.
