Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Analyst to support financial and procurement processes in Dublin. You will work with EBS R12 modules—Purchasing, AP and Projects—while developing SQL queries and reports for procurement and financial analysis.

The role requires strong SQL, data analysis, and reporting skills using Oracle BI or Discoverer, plus advanced Excel and PowerPoint abilities for presenting findings. Collaboration with business and technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, specifically Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Projects.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, and reporting skills with Oracle BI/Discoverer or similar tools.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience in budgeting, accruals, data migration and data quality.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Oracle E-Business Suite certification is desirable but not essential; certifications in SQL, data analytics or project management are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Apply Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 expertise to support business and financial processes.

• Develop SQL queries and reports to support procurement, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Utilize Oracle BI, Discoverer and other Oracle reporting tools to extract, analyse and present business information.
• Support budget monitoring, accruals and month-end financial reporting activities.
• Leverage advanced Excel and PowerPoint to analyse data and prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Analyse, prepare and validate data, including data migration activities and data quality checks.
• Identify issues, investigate root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders and build strong relationships across business and technical teams.

Requirements

• Relevant third-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate significant experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12, particularly within Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Projects.
• Demonstrate strong SQL, data analysis and reporting skills, with experience using Oracle BI, Discoverer or similar reporting tools.
• Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, together with experience supporting financial reporting, budgeting, accruals, data migration and data quality activities.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Oracle E-Business Suite or relevant Oracle certifications are desirable but not essential.
• Certifications in SQL, data analytics, project management or related disciplines are also advantageous.
