Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology field.
• 4+ years' experience with major DWDM platforms.
• 4+ years' experience with optical planning, modelling tools and hands-on implementation.
• Experience with rollout of large DWDM networks in Metro and Long Haul spaces.

Responsibilities

• Design optical solutions and deploy DWDM network.
• Drive optical scaling tasks and generate cutsheets and configs.
• Define and configure management solution for remote monitoring.
• Collaborate with field tech and fiber teams to scale the optical network.
• Review changes on optical systems via CLI or script.
• Ensure deployment tasks adhere to AWS network standards.
• Lead end-to-end product evaluation and drive tender processes.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
• Lead operational excellence programs to improve DWDM network quality and reliability.
• Design scalable processes to expand optical infrastructure.
• Lead vendor evaluation for cost efficiency.
