Job summary

Specsavers Norge in Dublin seeks an Optical Assistant to bring a friendly face, great customer service and a passion for the Specsavers brand. You will help create an outstanding store environment for customers and staff.

Based in GPO Arcade with full-time hours, you’ll receive training and opportunities to develop while using the latest technology and systems in store.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant.
• Customer service-focused and able to make customers’ lives easier.
• Strong teamwork and initiative.
• Confident in using IT systems.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Open to feedback and development with support provided.

So, you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores need? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve had previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.
As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

What we’re looking for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant. These include:

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
• Passion for providing excellent customer service and making customers’ lives easier
• Great teamwork

• Confidence in using IT systems
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Prepared to step out of your comfort zone and try something new
