Job summary

Specsavers Santry is seeking a Trainee Optical Assistant to help create an outstanding store environment for customers and staff. You will welcome customers, deliver excellent service, and support the team in providing the best care in our stores.

No prior optical experience is required; we offer extensive training and development supported by experienced Opticians and Technicians to help you grow your career in optics.

Qualifications

• No previous optical experience required; openness to learning on the job.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service and helping customers.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfort with using IT systems in a retail setting.
• Receptive to feedback and eager for development.
• Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and try new things.
• Interest in optics and Audiology terminology is a plus.

This includes

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience in optics or Audiology business
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.
