Qualifications

• Be registered, or eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the NMBI.
• 1–2 years post-registration experience in acute care nursing.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and audit experience.
• Familiar with theatre environments and infection control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operating room patients and plans; document and implement care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to meet specific theatre requirements.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centred environment and ensure confidentiality.
• Assist in setting up theatre, patient positioning, instrumentation and equipment.
