Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Theatre team. The role is full-time and permanent, with comprehensive training and mentoring provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the nursing care of allocated patients on each shift and will work within a multidisciplinary team to uphold the highest standards of patient care. Applicants must be registered with the NMBI, have at least 18 months’ experience in an acute setting, and at least 12 months in a theatre

Qualifications

• Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses (NMBI).
• At least 18 months experience in an acute setting.
• At least 12 months in a Theatre setting.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated patients.
• Work within the nursing team and assist colleagues to provide and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate as part of the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
