Optical Express, the UK and Ireland’s leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens and cataract surgery, is recruiting for a Theatre Practitioner (RGN) to join our busy Dublin surgery team. The role involves working in a state-of-the-art clinic, providing world-class patient care and supporting ophthalmic surgeons in a dynamic multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Registered with relevant nursing regulatory body (RGN) and eligible to practice in Ireland.
• Experience in theatre or ophthalmic surgery preferred.
• Willing to travel to other clinics; travel costs covered.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for Laser Vision Correction procedures.
• Assist with anaesthesia.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments.
• Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications.
