Optical Express, in Dublin, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (RGN) to join our busy surgery team in a state-of-the-art clinic. You will work alongside ophthalmologists on refractive and cataract procedures and play a vital role in patient care.

The role offers full-time hours (40 per week) with diverse responsibilities from scrub to anaesthetic support, training, and opportunities for professional development within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMBI/Irish registration
• Experience in theatre scrub/intraocular surgery is desirable
• Strong patient-care focus and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Theatre scrubbing for Laser Vision Correction and cataract procedures
• Act as anaesthetic assistant and support pre-operative assessments
• Undertake pre-screening duties and ensure safe patient discharge with aftercare
