Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking an Ophthalmology Staff Nurse in Dublin to join a leading eye care service. This role offers specialist ophthalmic exposure with a strong work-life balance and no night shifts.

You'll rotate across Eye Scanning and Diagnostic Services, Outpatient Clinics, Eye Injection Service and Minor Laser Eye Surgery, becoming part of a multidisciplinary team delivering Cataract, Glaucoma and Retina care.

Qualifications

• NMBI registration and valid nursing practicing status.
• Experience in acute hospital settings is required.
• Ophthalmology experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Rotate throughout Eye Department gaining experience across clinics and services.
• Exposure to Eye Scanning, Outpatient Clinics, Eye Injection Service.
• Participate in Cataract, Glaucoma, Retina and other ophthalmic procedures.

Cpl Healthcare is recruiting an Ophthalmology Staff Nurse to join a leading eye care service in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to develop specialist skills within ophthalmology while enjoying an excellent work-life balance. The department operates predominantly Monday to Friday, with no night shifts and offers exposure to a wide range of ophthalmic services and procedures.

The successful candidate will rotate throughout the Eye Department, gaining experience across:

• Eye Scanning and Diagnostic Services
• Outpatient Clinics
• Eye Injection Service
• Minor Laser Eye Surgery

You will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering specialist care across a broad range of services including Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Care, Medical and Surgical Retina Services, Refractive (Laser Eye) Surgery, Corneal Surgery, Ophthalmic Oculoplastic Surgery, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology

Requirements

• Active NMBI registration
• Previous acute hospital nursing experience
