Job summary

Roquette Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure safe, reliable contractor operations on site in County Cork. You will lead safety efforts, manage environmental compliance and uphold GMP-adjacent practices across site activities.

The role involves issuing safe work permits, reviewing risk assessments, and driving KPI-based improvements in safety and process safety. Strong communication and team leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma in Safety, Health and Welfare at Work or equivalent.
• Proven experience in EHS in a regulated environment.
• Good IT skills including computer-controlled equipment would be advantageous.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Issue Safe Work Permits for defined projects and in defined operational areas on site.
• Review method statements and job risk assessments for accuracy and relevance.
• Ensure 100% compliance with EHS requirements for site contractors, including PPE and incident reporting.
• Lead safety investigations and reports as required.
• Develop and revise working practices to meet safety and environmental standards.
