Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is hiring an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for large sporting events in Ireland. You will plan, coordinate, and review all activities and logistics, manage facilities, staffing, and contractors, and ensure high service standards.

Lead the operations team, drive recruitment and onboarding, and promote accountability, collaboration, and customer focus while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' management experience in operations, events, hospitality, or related fields.
• Experience managing complex operations with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong team leadership and people management.
• Solid knowledge of health & safety; a Health & Safety qualification is a strong advantage.
• Budget and financial management experience.
• Calm under pressure; flexible and adaptable with excellent communications skills.

• Oversee daily operations to deliver high-quality events.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and high service standards.

• Champion a strong safety and risk management culture.
• Ensure operational compliance with legislation, HRI policies, and industry standards.
