Famworld, Ireland’s largest Host Family community, is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day accommodation operations for students and host families. The role is primarily remote with Dublin office availability, and requires coordinating arrivals, allocations and service improvements.
You will work with host families, language schools and students, develop scalable processes, and ensure safeguarding and compliance while delivering an exceptional Irish experience.
Famworld is Ireland’s largest Host Family community, with Host Families across every county in Ireland. We connect students and language schools with welcoming, carefully selected families, providing high-quality accommodation and an authentic Irish experience.
Technology is at the heart of what we do. Famworld is transforming the traditional Host Family accommodation model by using technology to make managing large volumes of students and groups more efficient, streamlined and effective — while improving the overall experience for both students and Host Families.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager to join our team and help us scale our operations while maintaining the highest standards of service.
The Operations Manager is a full-time position, primarily remote (approximately 95% remote and 5% office-based in Dublin). The role requires flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends, particularly during busy periods and student arrivals and departures.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accommodation operations at Famworld, ensuring that students, language schools and Host Families receive a smooth, efficient and high-quality service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping Famworld scale its Host Family network and operations while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with a genuine understanding of the Host Family sector.
This is a hands-on operational role. The successful candidate should enjoy working with people, be comfortable dealing with last-minute changes and challenges, and be able to make quick, practical decisions when required.
Most importantly, you should be passionate about delivering an excellent experience for both students and Host Families.
