Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for Maldron Hotel Cork in Cork. You will lead hotel operations, guide department heads, and ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance and growth.

The role requires 2 to 3 years in a deputy, operations or senior manager position within a large hotel, strong people leadership, commercial awareness and KPI management.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a Deputy, Operations or Senior Manager role within a large hotel.
• Experience in people leadership and motivation.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience in managing KPIs, targets, costs and revenues.
• Proven ability to nurture and develop talented employees.
• Excellent communication skills with comfort in contributing to the hotel strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the General Manager for all hotel operations.
• Directly lead the heads of departments.
• Ensure staff are motivated and engaged to deliver excellence in service.
• Succession Planning - Lead the development and continuous learning of the hotel staff.
• Ensure the best level of customer care within the property.
• Support the profitability and cost management of the hotel.
