Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cork, Ireland, is seeking an Operations Finance Analyst to support the EMEIA Engineering & Operations Finance team. You will manage costs in a key business area, develop insights, and partner with Logistics, Planning, and AppleCare to drive performance.

You will be responsible for KPI provision, cost-reduction opportunities, and quarterly reviews with executives, while collaborating across regions to deliver WW initiatives and reliable financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provision of KPIs & management metrics to help the business understand key cost drivers.
• Actively work with the business to find cost reduction opportunities and track savings.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with executives.
• Partner locally with EMEIA Operations Finance teams to improve reporting and inputs for business reviews.
• Partner cross-regionally with peers in AMR/APAC to implement WW initiatives.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the EMEIA Operations Finance management team.
• Deliver stellar support to Business Partners for EMEIA and worldwide.

Engineering & Operations Finance partners with the Engineering, Operations, and AppleCare teams to optimize the worldʼs most innovative supply chain and provide the best possible customer experience. Intricately connected with their business partners, our team provides analysis for insightful decision making. The team is located in five major global sites: Cupertino, Austin, Shanghai, Singapore, and Cork.This exciting role sits within the EMEIA Engineering & Operations Finance team. The team is primarily responsible for the management of costs and controls within specified business areas, as well as driving strategic decision-making and corporate initiatives. We engage directly with key customers, including all Operations functions (Logistics, Supply Demand Planning, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Operations, BPR), Product Operations, multiple Engineering groups, AppleCare, Corporate Procurement, GBS, Technical Accounting, Corporate Tax and Trade Compliance.Each Analyst as part of the Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Finance team is primarily responsible for the management of costs within a specified business area. It interacts directly with the key Operations functions, which includes Logistics, Supply Demand Planning, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Operations, BPR and other support functions. This role will specifically partner and support the Outbound Logistics and associated supply chain impacts whole interacting with other areas of the business as the need arises. There are 4 members working in the Supply Chain Finance team with multifaceted finance and accounting qualifications. Each team member effectively engages with and supports key business partners within the local business teams to provide analytical & decision-making support, as well as being responsible for quarter end close & forecasting activities within their function. You will have phenomenal exposure to not only the Operations Finance team but also the wider Apple organization.
