Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an Operations Engineer for a client in Kildare to monitor thermal generating assets and optimise availability and efficiency. The role requires managing process safety via computerised systems and coordinating safety measures during maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a similar position and experience with electrical, mechanical or automation systems, with shift work involved and a competitive remuneration package including pension and bonus.

About the Company

Our client is a leading member of the Irish renewable power sector who are hiring an Operations Engineer to join their team in Kildare. This job will be focusing on ensuring the operation and optimisation of electricity generating assets. Please note that this job will require shift work.

About the Position

• As Operations Engineer, your job will be to monitor thermal generating assets to optimise availability and efficiency.
• Managing process safety using computerised systems to provide a safe work environment for maintenance activities.
• Coordinating safety precautions for execution of maintenance tasks.
• Carrying out process fault diagnosis and reporting through CMMS as required.
• Interfacing with relevant stakeholders and authorities.
• Any other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements
