Job summary

PALMWAY HOLDINGS LIMITED in Ireland is seeking an Operations & Business Development Executive to analyse performance data across locations and support growth initiatives. You will develop KPIs, conduct market research, and assist in creating strategies and business plans for expansion.

The role requires a degree in business/marketing (Master’s preferred) and strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers and franchise partners.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales, operational and performance data and prepare reports with improvement recommendations.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to support efficiency, profitability and growth.
• Conduct market research and assist in developing marketing and business development strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, revenue and expansion initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, presentations and strategic business plans.
• Coordinate improvement projects and support new systems and processes.
• Liaise with franchise representatives, suppliers and stakeholders to support objectives.
• Monitor compliance with policies, QA, food safety and regulatory standards across stores.
• Prepare performance reports and suggest improvements to risk management and governance.
• Support store management teams as needed.
• Perform other business development and analysis duties as assigned.

Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyse sales, operational and commercial performance data across allocated business locations and prepare management reports with recommendations for business improvement.
• Contribute in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational efficiency, profitability and business growth.
• Conduct market research, analyse customer behaviour and industry trends, and assist in developing marketing and business development strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, increase revenue and support business expansion initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of business proposals, commercial presentations and strategic business plans.
• Coordinate operational improvement projects and support the implementation of new business systems, processes and best practices.
• Liaise with franchise representatives, suppliers, consultants and other business stakeholders to support commercial and operational objectives.
• Monitor operational compliance and support the implementation of company policies, quality assurance, food safety and regulatory standards across all the allocated stores.
• Prepare compliance and business performance reports and recommend improvements to operational risk management and corporate governance processes.
• Support store management teams where necessary.
• Perform such other professional business development, commercial analysis and operational improvement duties as may reasonably be assigned by senior management, consistent with the responsibilities of the position.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business/marketing.
• Master’s degree in the Business will be advantageous.
• Although not necessary, but any relevant experience will be considered a strength. Strong academic background in financial analysis, marketing, strategic management, and research methods.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. (Will be assessed at interview stage.)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. (Will be assessed at interview stage.)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
