Job summary

Peamount Healthcare is seeking a Mechanical Services Technician to support the Facilities Department in the safe and efficient operation of mechanical building services across the Newcastle, Co. Dublin campus.

The role is full-time and onsite, with a fixed 39-hour schedule and progression through the salary scale from €48,251 to €74,805. The post holder will manage maintenance, assist with MGPS systems and BMS monitoring, and work with external contractors to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Communication skills demonstrated in team and cross-functional settings.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for safe, reliable operation and maintenance of mechanical building services across Peamount campus.
• Support planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, fault identification and resolution.
• Coordinate with contractors, verify service delivery and maintain accurate technical records.
