Emerald Park is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established maintenance team for a full-time role with seasonal shift work on site. The position requires a QQI Level 6 or similar engineering qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems, update AUXEL records, and work with PLC programs.

Qualifications

• Irish regulated manufacturing/plant environment experience preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting including PLCs and automation.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Update equipment records and enter data in maintenance system (AUXEL).
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and PLC control work.
• Monitor machine performance and intervene when deterioration occurs.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations.
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules on site.
