Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an L4 lab analyst based in the Carrigaline Laboratory for a temporary role of up to 12 months. You will ensure accurate and timely testing of products, prepare bulk and production samples for analysis, and register QC samples in the laboratory management systems.

This role requires strict adherence to ISO17025 accreditation and GLP, meticulous data entry for traceability, maintenance of laboratory equipment, and organized records.

Qualifications

• BSc in food science or equivalent.
• Experience with laboratory testing and QC sample handling.
• Ability to follow ISO17025 and GLP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely testing of products per PepsiCo standards.
• Prepare Bulk and Production samples for analysis.
• Register QC samples in the LIMS accurately.
• Analyze and disposition products in line with ISO17025.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Keep records and samples organized for traceability.
• Follow safe lab practices and GLP; adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Organise replenishment of laboratory supplies.

Overview

L4 lab analyst based in the Carrigaline Laboratory.

This is a temporary basis opportunity for up to 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and timely testing of products in accordance with PepsiCo standards and procedures
• Prepare Bulk and Production samples for analysis
• Registering QC samples in the laboratory management systems accurately
• Ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of products in compliance with ISO17025 accreditation
• Meticulous attention to sample data entry and preparation
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
• Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on trace-ability
• Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP
• Organise the replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies
• A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
