Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. seeks a Level 4 (L4) lab analyst based in the Carrigaline Laboratory for a temporary position up to 12 months. The role focuses on testing products, preparing samples for analysis, and ensuring compliance with ISO17025 and GLP alongside accurate data management.

The successful candidate will work to PepsiCo standards, maintain equipment, manage records, and ensure health and safety requirements are met at all times in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• BSc in food science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate and timely testing of products in accordance with PepsiCo standards and procedures
• Prepare Bulk and Production samples for analysis
• Registering QC samples in the laboratory management systems accurately
• Ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of products in compliance with ISO17025 accreditation
• Meticulous attention to sample data entry and preparation
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
• Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on trace-ability
• Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP
• Organise the replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies
• A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered to.
