Job summary

TOBIN CONSULTING ENGINEERS, now part of AtkinsRéalis, seeks Resident Engineers to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland. On-site roles involve supervising construction, monitoring progress, and ensuring safety and quality on site in Cork, Dublin, Meath, Louth and Limerick.

Candidates from all experience levels are welcome; a civil engineering degree is preferred, with strong communication and organisational skills and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in site supervision, construction, or infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of water, wastewater, or civil infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction works and ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and health and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and performance on site.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review and maintain site records, reports, and documentation.
• Support the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
