Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Drogheda is seeking a Senior Projects Engineer to lead capital projects from concept through to handover in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. This role focuses on delivering manufacturing processes, production equipment, packaging systems, automation and supporting infrastructure on a fully onsite basis.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience delivering manufacturing capital projects.
• Proven CAPEX project delivery involving manufacturing equipment installation and process implementation.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to create/update layouts and drawings.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, production systems and process engineering.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contractors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept, design and planning through to installation, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and change control.
• Act as the manufacturing engineering lead ensuring facility and project decisions support production needs.
• Define manufacturing process and equipment requirements, layouts and material flow.
• Develop, review and update equipment and process layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate equipment vendors, system integrators and contractors through execution.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation and handover activities.
• Ensure new equipment and processes transition smoothly to production.
