Job summary

UPMC Ireland is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager II for Medical Oncology at the Limerick Cancer Centre on a permanent, full-time basis. The CNM II will lead service planning, co-ordinate activity, and supervise nursing staff within the Oncology Day Unit to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires postgraduate oncology qualifications and management training, with extensive oncology nursing experience. The CNM will drive quality improvement, KPI delivery, and staff development under NMBI

Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in Oncology or equivalent.
Management training or certification.
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience leading nursing teams in oncology is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead service planning, co-ordinating and managing activity and resources in the Oncology Day Unit.
Coordinate and lead in implementation and provision of quality care.
Assess workloads and staff competencies to meet patient care needs.
Delegate tasks in line with guidelines and standards.
Maintain clear communication with senior management and records.
