UPMC Ireland is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the Oncology team at Limerick Cancer Centre on a full-time permanent contract. The role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care, coordinating patient plans and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless discharge and continuity of care.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years oncology experience, be NMBI registered, and hold or be working towards an oncology postgraduate qualification.

Qualificações

• Be registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• 1–2 years Oncology nursing experience.
• Oncology Post Grad or similar desirable.
• Competence in IV chemotherapy administration.
• Competence in CVAD access, IV cannulation and phlebotomy.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in a tertiary centre.
• Assess, plan and evaluate individual person-centred care within best practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Maintain high professional standards and contribute to clinical governance and safety.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring for nursing staff and students.
