Alliance Medical in Tralee is recruiting a Radiographer's Assistant to join our radiology team. The role involves assisting radiographers, preparing examination rooms, and communicating clearly with patients to ensure a smooth imaging process.

You will be part of a fast-paced healthcare setting, with 37.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule, including long and short shifts. A calm, patient-focused approach is essential to deliver outstanding care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience in medical administration or a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and perform 3-point checks.
• Assist Radiographers with patient movement and positioning for safe imaging.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide reassurance.
• Prepare examination rooms, maintain cleanliness, and stock supplies.
• Answer calls, book appointments, and assist reception as needed.
• Support staff with special procedures after training; work in a team.
• Coordinate with clinicians to deliver high-quality imaging services.
• Follow health, safety, and radiation protection policies.
