Job summary

J & Y INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Part-Time English Teacher to deliver face-to-face lessons at Singapore City Hall. The role involves one-to-one or small-group instruction tailored to students' ages and levels.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, supporting speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, and providing timely feedback. A Bachelor's degree or current pursuit, strong English, and prior teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing Bachelor's degree.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Prior teaching, tutoring or education experience preferred.
• Experience teaching international students welcomed.
• Effective communication with students of varying ages/backgrounds.
• Patient, responsible and passionate about teaching.
• Able to commit to a stable part-time schedule.
• Candidates based in Singapore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality face-to-face English lessons for students.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group lessons based on learning needs.
• Develop lesson plans and materials according to proficiency and objectives.
• Help students improve speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
• Monitor progress and provide timely feedback.
• Adapt teaching approaches to individual progress and needs.
• Maintain a positive, engaging, supportive learning environment.
